Default cosworth hunting problem

hi, my cossys hunting when cold, runs fine when warm. what could be the cause of this & what would be the best way of fixing it. could it be caused by a dirty idle speed control valve, if so can this be cleaned & how?
cheers

You can take them apart and clean them out with carb clearner or similar. I've doen that to my RS 2000 one a few times as they seem to get dusty inside and stick.
