has anyone been to MALIA in CRETE? lads holiday!
well for you who contributed to me asking about going to kos in greece many thanks it was great

we have been to zante and kos now
thinking about crete for a lads holiday next year, i think the main club / bar place is MALIA?
anyone been and whats the nightlife like?

Its mint, one of the BEST places to go for nightlife and daytime activities 
Went with my fella and all the lads pmsl....and again with just my fella...

a group of lads i know went in july... said it was best holiday ever..
i was gonna go but couldnt get the right dates so i went ibiza.... absolutely mental and i recommend it!

Its hyped up to fuck so all the lads go, I know tons thats gone lately.
But the normal amount of birds go still.
So there about 30 lads to every bird.

Malia is good ayia napa is far far far better.
I've done most of the lads holiday type places and did malia a few years back with 17 mates it was good but not the best place i've been. They play nothing but r&b shite which put a downer on it for me.
Ayia Napa all the way for a lads blow out, either that or cancun in mexico if your feeling rich lol

Ayia Napa has a massive square with 'The Castle club' smack bang in the middle! It's surrounded by bars/shops which run along roads/streets all around. Good thing is it's closed to all traffic! The atmosphere was excellent, no trouble just people having a good time and getting wasted! Most of the bars/clubs were open until 9am...
Malia has a slightly different layout...From the main road the club stuff is beach side...There will be 2 roads which you can walk down (are about half mile long) with resturants/bars/clubs either side/ You will eventually join in the middle like an upside down Y... Plenty of bars n stuff to visit but the police are very strict on music..If a cop car was to drive past all the music would stop until they fooked off again...Think the latest bar we came accross kicked out at 6am

basically kos all the music stops at 12 midnight in the bars, please tell me malia isnt like this
also whats the width of the strip like? kos its like 12-15 ft wide and you get harassed by people trying to get you into bars becuase its so compact.

the width of the strip is just your usual road width also very long more bars than clubs and you do get harrassed to death, i went with my missus 3 year back and loved it. we stayed at a small appartment complex called the drossia palms and it was beautiful, it was located very close to the see so we were away from all the noise and when we wanted to get involved with all the drinking etc it was only 2 mins away up the road mint mate mint

Its since turned into thee place to be -but come a year or so there will be somewhere else that is popular. Just like Magaluf
has gone down the drain etcThe place had a decent amount of bars/pubs but bugger all decent clubs. Aiya Napa and Ibiza are better for clubs.

did a week fell out a 40ft balconey and broke my leg and had to fly home 
thats what you get for drinkin 12 hours a day, world cup was on when we went and there was loads of birds just try and keep out of there hospital/prison!

went malia about 3 years ago, was wicked!!!
on a sat n sunday mornig a few clubs were open til 8!!!!
there was a big group of us, an the staff will do anyfin to get u into clubs/bars, offering free drinks etc!!!
there was ten of us, and we was gettin 3 free fishbowls if we bout two drinks each!!!
would defo go back, but would like to expierence other places first

I went to malia a few years back, utter carnage.
Too many geezers for my liking, and apparently things have got a bit lairy out there now. Cancun was good, but napa is prob the best lads jolly I've been on.
