Cat C repair
How much damage to a car would must it have had to go as Cat C instead of D ??
And would it be safe enough after the car had been totally rebuilt and what sort of price drop would be expected on a very good 1985 series one rs turbo, basically would you bother buying it and what would be the top line to pay??
Cheers

Doesnt have to be anything significant. My run about Orion is category C.
As far as i can tell, they somehow gained entry with no visible damage, broke the steering lock and didnt manage to steal the car, and then it was written off by insurance due to the price of parts and sent to a scrap dealer, but i bought it as salvage.
And because of this, its labelled up like its been stolen and ramped or lost its identity marks (which i feel is a very unfair representatiuon of it)
