Motoring Myths and Quirks - Post yours up here
Heres a couple...
1)
Why do people flash their headlights at traffic lights thinking it will make
them change quicker. The sensors on them are not light dependant.
They are microwave radar detectors.
My mate does this and I told him the reality but he said well
everytime he does it they change to green.
Perhaps they were going to change anyway like they should do - Idiot
2)
Why do some people indicate round corners when they are not turns. ?
I.E. A road has a 90 degree bend in it with no other exit yet they indicate

not an "on the road myth"..
but why the fook does half the population of car forums think that peformance cars need a full rebuild as soon as they hit 50k miles...
ie: cossies, subarus, gtr's, gtir, even erst's

To be honest, it was said in jest, not to be taken too seriously.
To be frank, it takes substantially less than most people think to dispatch them with an M5 (in particular small RS fords, and stupid little french cars with big spoilers and ridiculous exhausts)
And for clarity, no I dont think you have one of the above, I see from your avatar that you have a mildly tuned cosworth, similar to my own. And I can say that there can be very little point of a car with all that power with the speed limit set at 70mph in this country.
Perhaps before you start judging whether others should have a driving licence, you should examine youself. Or did you tune it cos you thought it sounded better?

I dont know if you saw my reply about the cossie with no power to the ecu,it was the green relay at fault,even though the owner said he had changed all the relays,he somehow managed to put the faulty one back in.
Also,why do people stop dead at roundabouts when theres no one to give way to?

why do fellow bmw drivers never fucking move over in the outside lane when you even tailgate and flash the fooker more times that a middle age bloke wearing a mac walking through a park
was comming back from coventry last night and EVERYONE but a tosser in a 5 series moved over so i had to undertake in the inside lane ( again why dont people move to the fucking left)
was anoying
and why do i keep smashing fucking fog lamps on any car i own that has em fitted,,,,,, smashed the one on my e36 last night

I do number 2 but only on 1 corner 90 degree as you describe, I have no idea why, its the auto pilot doing it I think and as soon as I indicate I think What a cock why am I indicating to follow the road? However the next time I go round the corner on comes the indicator
I think I will avaoid that route at all cost just incase someone witnesses my stupidity
