Some may remember about 2 months ago I purchased a new Kenwood stereo from Halfords (I know, I know ). To cut a long story short the unit went pear shaped and wouldn't get any radio stations and teh CD player skipped as soon as I even looked at a cats eye

The bloke in Halford said because of the time between me buying it and returning it as faulty it would need sending of for inspection repair and I would have it back in 5-7 working days. Only call I have had since then was for somebody to advise they had lost the faceplate for my stereo

After plenty of phone calls and promises of being called back with word I finally received a call saying the lad that packed it was certain it went with the faceplate and the repair centre were certain they didn't have it and it had been sat in limbo since

After me expressing my displeasure they kindly offered to upgrade the unit free of charge to a brand new KDC-W707 that retails at £100 more than I paid for the other one anyway.



So they may have taken a bit of time but they got there. Now I just need to get off my lazy arse and put it in the car
