MP3 car stereos??
Want a MP3 playing stereo for my taxi (hackney carriage not sierra ).
Whats the crack with them? put the albums into seperate folders on disc? the name of folder come up in display? any good ones cheap ATM? anyone selling one?

With your cd/dvd burning software (Nero, Roxio etc) instead of burning an audio disk you burn a data disk. So just drag the folfers with the mp3's/wma's onto the disk. The head unit will then display them and allow you to view them in folder tree format.
This way^ you use the data capacity of the disk (700mB) not the audio capacity (80min) that you will see printed on your blank discs. Bearing in mind 1 song is 4mb average (4,000kb) you will get loads and loads.
The folders and tracks will display as you put them in. So just check them and rename if needed.
Alpine and panasoinc always been my favourites.
