I really like the look of the 2 with all its random bits of plastic stuck all over it, its got a kind of "function over form" look about it
You seem to hear nothing but reliability issues with them though

Take a look at the Model Info on MLR
A girl down the road from me had an Evo III, the transfer box went on it after a couple of months and cost her over Ł2k + to get a new one.
If you want a serious EVO 2 RS - take a look at this one for sale.....

Has been sucessful this year at TOTB and in the Time Attack rounds.

Team HOTHOT!

ive heard of the crank walk problem on engines with as little milage as 7000 miles, but i think it is still quite rare,
the evo 3 rs is the one to go for if you can put up with the lack off electric windows,
stay away from any thing with a fuel cut defender,
dont go much above 1.1- 1.2 bar on stock internalls,
get one, my old mans got a 4, and fuck me it moves,
276 bhp at o.9 bar, and revs all the way to 8000 with falt line boost,
great cars

Not rare at all unfortunately. Have a read on the MLR, it seems most early evo's have a design fault that will make this happen a lot.
