Basically my mate who bought the Auralis Blue one with 20 thou on it, was out in the car and some cunt only drove into the side of him
He needed a door and rear q.
So I think he said its being done at Audi or summit, so theyve rang him today and said they can get a door, but not a quarter
He deffo doesnt want it filled n all that crap, but they swear blind he will never notice the difference, which is irrelivant cause he will know its not right and being the type of person he is , it will just eat away at him all the time.
I think he should say to Mr insurance, look if the car cant be repaired properly then I want a settlement figure. which is an agreed value of 20k.
I said I would try n get a panel cause he realy does wanna keep the car , but not unless it is returned to A1 condition obviously.

Was the early type rear qtr for sale @ the RSOC nat day but not the later flap type as it would be on a late Auralis Blue esc cos.

No later ones avab anywhere i checked before

but an early ones got to be better than nothing

If the damage isnt that bad, then maybe repairing it may be the better option. If its done 'properly', you shouldnt be able to tell, whereas a complete new panal will de-value the car in my opinion as itll obviously no longer be original panals. A complete new quarter is going to raise suspision when it comes to selling.

I suppose it depends how bad the damage is though. Either way, its pretty bad luck.

IF it can repair i would want it repaired defo
I wouldnt want a escort cossie that had a quarter panel fitted or any weld on panel for that matter..
So if it can be repaired proper leaving the panels original
