Yeah.

We were working to a deadline because the car had to be back on its wheels for 6.30 and didn't have time to play around, but there was no way on earth that the nuts could start with both parts of the bush and the top cups in place so we put the standard rubber ones on instead.

if you mean strutt tops then yes

tried allsorts with mine threw mine away fitted deflex ones. better results much quicker

have you tried jacking the trut up so you put pressure on the mount,then bolt it up.

Had the same problem with mine. Had chrome strut tops on a white car with yellow bushes peeling down around them. Looked shite so i put back on the original bushes.
