Went to start my newly fitted 2.0L Zetec last night, it started first time, needless to say i was chuffed to bits as I had never done anything like fit an engine before.

It then decided to piss oil out everywhere, looks like the gasket on the oil pump is fucked. It also comes out a milky colour, my mate reckons it because it is getting frothed up, this sound right ?

Does it ever fucking end

Milky oil means it's mixed with water.

In your situation mate, I'd replace the gasket(s), replace the oil and filter, then run it at idle checking dipstick every minute or 2, to see how the oil is looking.

Also check bubbles in the header tank, in case HG has gone.
