where abouts would the idle speed control valve b located on an efi xr3i

Left hand side of the inlet manifold if it's a Hitatchi valve, or on top of the airbox if it's the weber one. If it's hitatchi it's right after the throttle body.

i think ve got the weber 1 for mine,its got 2 pipes coming from it 1 of them goes 2 a takeoff pipe on the side of the inlet manifold and the other pipe goes 2 the airbox does that sound correct

I've taken this pic off your thread mate.

The ISCV is located on the top of the airbox. The ISCV tales air from the fliter and allows it into the inlet behind the throttle body.

As you can see from my engine, the Hitatchi one bolts to the inlet manifold and take air in from just before the throttle body.

oh right i see cheers,so i just need 2 re route the pipe that goes 2 the top of the air box and connect it 2 the charge carrier pipe instead yeh

No, you need to take a pipe from the bit of the ISCV that sticks down into the airbox to go to the charge carrier before the throttle body.

yeh sorry thats what i meant but just read what i typed and it didnt make much sense did it so i leave the pipe fom the inlet manifold 2 the iscv and then the other pipe goes the a take off point b4 the throttle body,does that sound right yeh
