He thinks it will be worth a fourtune.

Lovely car. Driven it a few times whewn we used ot work together up in Scotland. Mercury Grey. It used to be totally standard (inc that crappy old cassette stereo: how I had fun listening to the rubbish tapes he has ) until he met me....


According to DVLA and RAC sites, it's gone. BUT it could just be on a private plate somewhere. Unless you still know the chassis number then there's prob no way of finding out for definate

my dads mate bought a 4x4 saff cossie brand new in 1991.... he's still got it and up untill about 5 years ago used it every day.... now just uses it once a week or so.... it's in really nice condition but last time i saw it it had done just over 190k miles .... and that's without a rebuild

my dad bought a Sierra Saff Ghia (not RS I know) brand new back ion 1991. I got my mits on it approx 2 years ago. I sold it last year too.

Car was fookin lovely to drive and still felt like new.

Some background:
Notice my mates B reg S1 (Roger Binyon) Roger is known to Mark Shead and NutsRS on here, also a few of the other rally boys on PF know him.

He rallys a Metro 6R4 (DAM 4100 version) and an EVO 7, and he hires out EVO rally car too......He bought his S1 brand new, placed his order with Currie Motors in Kingston as soon as he heard Ford were releasing them.

my dad bought new G reg S2 in 1990 can't remember the price sold it in 1997 and bought a saff. S2 had only done 28000mls when sold proberly rotten now.

Not an RS but my uncles had a mk4 xr3i since he first got it brand new as a company car in 1987, then he bought it off his company 2 years later - used it as a "Sunday Best Car" up until 1996 where its been parked in his heated garage ever since. Hopefully i can restore it for him some day

my dad had brand new rs2000 in aug 1992, and paid 18k for it,private plate o it tho wen he changed it 2 sell it it was j195 xsf,he had it up til late 96 and only covered 15k and never seen rain!!!
