Default MOT failed! no rear brakes

my RS2000 failed its MOT on saturday for having no rear brakes

they said there was little or no effort to the rear brakes, no pressure

what causes this? how can i fix it?

Didnt you notice the brake performance going downhill though ?

Could be corroded brake pipes or something like that? dout its much anyways

actually never noticed it until going to the MOT test centre! i thought braking felt a bit wierd when i couldn't stop for a roundabout

Siezed callipers (if it a mk5) ie pistons ect take a calliper off and get a m8 to pump the peddel and see if the piston moves at all Mine you you may want a G clamp or brake tool to push it back in if it work
