Default WHY I WASNT AT TOTB

as a few of you may know i am waiting on a P8 ecu(converted to run a coilpack) and a complete engine loom from pectel to overcome my ignition problems ...these didnt arrive and if they had the car would still needa complete remap

i could have run the car as it was but with it not 100% i chose not to go to such a public event as last time out it was holding back 75 yards before the finish line ran.... 10.6 (eventually) and was around 10 mph down on terminal at 133mph

that aside being self employed/working 7 days a week and this being my busy time of year was also a deciding factor on the car not being a priority (it has,nt turned a wheel for 2 months)... so there you have it

Never mind always next year, think its got the potential to clear up as well, think the best time I heard today was a 10.6 assuming this year was run over a quarter and not over 500m like TOTB1. Was a shame, I was looking forward to it running
Also RST crew were saying the grip at Evlington is better than Santa pod, Paul Ripleys old car did a mental time of 12.77 second quarter for a RST!!!!

Heard you were having ecu problems, a few people said same thing on sunday to why you weren't there.

If its not ready, then its not ready

Hopefully the cossie lot will shock the competition in full force next year - think i heard that before tho

Gutted you werent there but work comes first and no point if car not 100%

From what i saw IMO you are more than an equal to any of the entrants there

How comes cossies go so fast eh the nearest jap cars that are as quick as Kevs,Martins are at very least 200 bhp more

ALSO YOUR CAR YOU DECISION FUCK WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK !!!!ITS A FECKING LONG WAY TO GO JUST TO PROVE HOW FAST YOUR CAR IS WHEN YOU HAVE ALLREADY PROVED TIME AND TIME AGAIN IT CAN MIX IT WITH THE BEST

Cuz the spectators don't pay the bills....

Kevin, run it when its ready and sorted and put on the kind of show that you know its capable of.

If anyone flips you a bunch of shit about it, tell them to do it themselves so they can see just how easy it is.

Yeah, I got the comment.....

But the consensus opinion around here seems to be that the guys with these cars OWE people something and that seems completely backwards to me

Instead of bitching that someone wasn't there, why not ask what they can do to help for next time rather than just sitting there and whining about it?

Would you like me to explain in English or Urdu you insolent crettin

What kevin does with his money and time is his business not mine or your's. For personal reason's he didnt enter as being self employed (like me) your next wage packet is not guarenteed so he is taking the money while the demand is there.
My original post was what we here call 'humour' and 'sarcasm'.
I myself probably could afford to build a high spec car like Kevin's and have given it some thought (3 year's worth and my hair is thin) but i have gone against the idea because i do not have the time that i feel would be required to fulfill my anticipated enjoyment.
