Default HELP NEEDED ASAP: Toad immobiliser removal - ALL SORTED!

my toad immobiliser fob on my s2 is knackered (i think it has been dropped, and the little chip inside has smashed), and i have been told it is irreparable and will need removing...

where would i start? chopping wires till it works? i have found the box, if you remove the heater vent near the ignition barrel its behind it.

need some help with removing it, as i need my car!

Trace all the wires back and remove them mate BUT some of the existing wiring would have been cut and so will need joining again to create the original circuits!
