Mike Rainbird Mar 8, 2006 03:50 PM

I should co-co, your current wheels are rubbish  :p ;). Check the Sapphire pictures thread, this had several cars with 17" / 18" Mos on (you lazy git ;) :p ).

Rhys Mar 8, 2006 04:01 PM

maxest Mar 8, 2006 04:04 PM

Rhys Mar 8, 2006 04:06 PM

Yeah they do look spot on, just dont know wether to change them :? Only reason thinking is that i will need to get new tyres on the car this year so shall i see if i can stretch to new wheels? The pain is the tyres still got a load of tread left on them! Just been on the car for 4 years now and not sure i like the idea of old tyres on performance car

Dan Mar 8, 2006 04:08 PM

Mike, no need for wheel arch mods with 18s on a 4x4 saph?

Mike Rainbird Mar 9, 2006 07:52 AM

You will need a little bit of minor fettling on some cars, but nothing major. However, as I said, you will be limited to 215/35 x 18 tyres...

JohnnyB Mar 9, 2006 07:57 AM

gibbo frst Mar 10, 2006 07:29 AM

they are et35 brought from reyland all i had to do was trim a bit of the arch liner away on the front and they dont rub at all even with people in the back. the wheels have spent more time piled up in the shed than they have on the car tho..

Rhys Mar 10, 2006 07:26 PM

Gibbo do u run 225's on the back and 215's on the front?

Johnny Knoxville Mar 11, 2006 07:11 AM

Do they do them in a 16inch in that grey colour?

Want them for my ERST

Sweet wheels BTW :top:

Niall.b Mar 11, 2006 07:30 AM

gibbo frst Mar 11, 2006 08:15 AM

hi no i got 215 s all round .. i didnt get the most expensive tyres for them as i had a new engine in the car the same time i got the wheels and knew the tyres were not going to last very long..

Rhys Mar 11, 2006 08:36 AM

LOL Gibbo, what power she running now? Will 225's fit on the back in 18"s anyone know? As would like a bit extra width on the rear for grip

gibbo frst Mar 11, 2006 08:43 AM

not too sure on power as was set up on the road but it feels quick enough to me.. its an a1 rallysport engine low comp with a touring car head off a german touring car wolf racing steve said and he said something about variable cam timing but im not too sure as i was busy looking around all the other cars in the workshop to listen.
