EEC IV Wiring diagram? PATS? circuits immobilised? EXPERTS

As topic any wiring diagrams about? ideally need pinouts on ECU ( for a N plate fiesta )

How does PATS ;) work, does it cut fuel pump? what else?

Got an IGN live from fuse box into inertia switch (Black/red) Then, got a BROWN wire coming out of inertia switch, does it go into ECU or does it go direct to pump? only we are unsure if the PATS is up the creek or the aftermarket immob... There isnt continuity between inertia switch and pump :(

Thanks all

ah right, well its an N plate fieste RS 1800 and has it, actually so does the ST EsCos no?

Damo, the PATS system should have an LED somewhere in the car (think they put them in the clock on some cars). If this flashes repidly after turning on the ignition then it is fooked. If it comes on for a second, then goes out then the system should be working properly...

Passive Anti Theft System! ;)

yeah it does that DAZ. I mean it only lights for a sec..

The ecu can come out now as he is running a/marke management ... do you know how it immobilises?

is it by cutting at the fuse box or do the cut circuits go into then out of the ecu ??

From what I can tell, only a Ford dealer knows and your only chance is to get some help from a Ford technician.

We (as in my company) has a small arguement with Ford a while back about doing the security repairs on Ford systems. Basically they won't let anune except the dealers have the info...

Seems fair enough suppose... Pain in the arse though
