Ay up people

After the removal of my engine I noticed how bad the heat from the turbo had effected my rubber coupling on the middle/lower section of the steering colume. Is there a poly version of the rubber standard effort availble and if not, is there another way around it ie how vibey would the steering wheel be if that rubber donut was replaced with a solid joint?? Any1 tried??

my m8 has used a 4x4 one and moded(welded in the right angel) for it to fit the 2 w/d rack so IS now just a solid block without the rubber dounut

i know of some one that removed the ruber bit and made it solid perfect fit

Got a 4x4 one and had it cut down and welded to fit mine

As you say,gets rid of the rubber and uses small UJ's instead
