as above jack the front of the car up then attach jump leads or a battery charger to the leads that go to the starter motor as these run straight to the battery

done this on mine loads of times as mines all delocked

dont you have to have something on the outside of the car that opens the doors, (like alot of people have them under the wing mirrors) for it to get through the mot?

no you only have to have something to get in if you have it de handled (although technically you can just have the windows down for the MOT lol) de-locking it is fine for MOTs

Rhys - now you know, we think "I wish I'd have done something to be able to get in if the battery dies"

I think the boot lock will be returning, I've still go the actual push button on it, just no key hole

Best idea I ever heard was of some guy fitting a 9V square battery terminal, and wiring it direct to the solenoid for the door. Then he hid the terminal somewhere on the car (I have a feeling it in was the wheel arch liner attached to the repeater loom)

When the main batt goes he fits a battery and it pops the door.

+ and - wires to the number plate screws then when your battery goes flat just touch the number plate screws with jump leads to pop the locks open

ive had this problem as well luckly for me i knew how to get into it afterward! but you could attach wires to the positive and negatives of the battry and then lead them to place and fasten em up securly so you can hook another battry to it if it happens again!

Small two pin plug under the grill - I also use it to connect the maintenance charger when the car is stored.

Just make sure you fuse it so its uleless for high current draw.

Think Wes' is fully de-locked isnt it?

Ive heard of people running a little wire underneath the car conencted to the door lock, when battery dies just pull on it to open the door, or something along those lines!
