hi a m8 has bought a rs2000 on a j plate but both floor pans are so rotten that the front seats were they bolt up has broke of if we replace both floor pans with new ones what do we do about the vin number that is stamped in the driver side.

Best bet is to speak to the DVLA and they will tell you the best way to go about it

ford will restamp the number for you as long as you take docs down to prove car is yours and origin.
