That's what I thought until I saw the pic of the interior, specifically the sterring wheel

Imagine trying to indicate! Or being pulled over!

Officer: Do you know how fast you were going sir?
Driver: Obviously not, officer, the speedo is at the other side of the car.

Are the pedals not at the passenger side too?

Don't you just love this one:

http://www.postalthings.com/images/r...conversion.JPG

Really 'safe' that one. There's no possibility at all of taking your legs off in an accident madam....the steel column will simply collapse on impact

Like who? Who would buy one of those? I mean, you can't even use the controls!

Looks a right bodge job too. And why convert an American vehicle to RHD for use in America?

Its for postal workers, in america they have post boxes at the end of the drive, sitting on the wrong side means you dont have to get out and walk round the car to post your mail.

What a death trap. Talk about 'an accident waiting to happen'....

The reason for them is because they are designed to appeal to your average lazy, fat ass American rural postal worker.
They drive on the right out there, but cars are left hand drive. So in order for a postie to stick the letters in your post box (or whatever those post box things on a pole are called) he would have to actually get out the car. Now we know that Americans don't like to do much walking, so this way, the postie can stay sat in their car, and post your mail in your box without excercising their fat arses.

I think.
