Whats The Difference Between
a cosworth bailey dump valve and an escort rs turbo one ?
i know the escort rs turbo one is a twin piston type but whats the cossie one ?
can the escort rs turbo one be used on a cosworth ?

Cars with an air mass flow meter, like ERST, will not tolerate uncontrolled air in/out leakages through the dump valve because this will mess up the fuelling. Soft single piston ones tend to be a bit open at low throttle and thus cause air to be sucked in and leaning the fuelling resulting in bogging. Cars with MAP based fuelling don't really care too much, and practically any dump valve can be used.
