Heard some shocking news about Super Unleaded last night
Talking to the bloke i know that works in Esso,I asked why he hasnt had super in for a few weeks now and he told me there has been a water leak of some kind in the tanks at one of the depot's so it obviously cant be used.
He then said all the garages are actualy using the same stuff at the moment wether it be essso super or Optimax!
Cant see him making this up as he is a proper petrol anorak!
If it is true it sounds a bit worrying to me if your paying over the odds for one brand and not getting it!

pmsl.... put it this way, my s2 starts pinking with normal unleaded, but doesnt with shell optimax...
all is fine this end!

Our 2 local Esso garages have not stocked SUL for over 2 months now, which is a right pain in the arse as I have to go to Telford Services about 18 miles away to get Optimax as I don't like BP Ultimate. 
I was told by the Manager at one of the Esso garages, that there were problems at the depot with the tanks.
