Default Escort cab turbo conv**HELP**

I am helping a friend turbo his escort cab the car in question is an 88 xr3i cab (i think with k-jetronic injection), we have a whole doner car in the shape of a s2 turbo, the problem we are haing is the wiring. i have heard people say all sorts of different things so im really looking for a definative answer asto which is the best way to carry out the conversion.
the cab has elecy roof etc and were not sure what to do about looms etc.

If anyone can help or point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated

Leave the complete cab loom in and splice the management loom from the turbo in at the drivers side A pillar only 6-7 wires to splice IIRC 2-3 earths 1 main +iv'e feed and i think 2 ignition +iv'es but if you have a local auto electrician they should be able to carry out the job for you.

Regards Doug .

i did a turbo converson on my cabby. i cut the part of the harrnes that runs towards the back of the car, by the drivers door. then removed the front part of the harness, youl have to remove the dash board to disconect the wiring behind clocks and heaters etc. then choped the turbo harness in the same place and soldered the orignal harnes to the turbo 1. i found this to be very easy as all the wires on the two harness are the same so you cant go wrong. im hopless at wiring so when i say its easy belive me it is

Never thoaght of that,we havent yet stripped the cars but what we were hoping for is to remove as less as poss to get the engine in a quick as poss but i think stripping fully and going from there might be the best bet

Weve got two whole cars so should be fine, the only reason he's doing it is because the shell on the cab is better than the s2 and he's a poser
