so bit off a nightmare over the last cpl off days

1st of friday morning the skip wagon turns up dropped 2 skips in the road the was just about to lift up the full skip and it had no lift so they had to ring for a Mechanic to come out he tried every thing but nothing work so ended up at 1 pm they had to drive back to there depot with the host down like this

by then we had lost a few hrs work as the dumper could not get round the truck not that he could put the stuff anywhere any way so a 2nd skip wagon turd up to move and takeaway the skips

then as we was digging the foundations we ran in to 2nd problem some 1 had concreted over a man hole not good phone call to building inspector coulden get here till yesterday had to dig an extra foot wide to take the soil pipe past where the founditions are this is where the man hole cover was

Get the ramps sunk in the ground mate, they get in the way if not, I used mine for more than a yr and was a pain putting a car away over them, it is a total luxury now they are in the base of the garage,

I have the same ramps

Hi mate what floor paint did you use , I've gone for epoxy 2pack and they say it cannot be painted on damp concrete and they say it's 1 month for every 25 mm on concrete drying time otherwise it will bubble and peel off.
That's 6 months waiting time lol.

Cheers paul

Lol , I know how you feel mate been painting mine for nearly 3 weeks , first the walls I used sandtex mansonary paint and I took 70 litres . Then I decided to paint the beams , used direct to rust hammerite paint went on great but in the morning I looked and there was all rust spots all over so painted them again and ran out of paint, got a small tin touched up and paint half the centre beam only to look in the morning and it was like a cream colour so painted everything again , and then today I painted the floor with a thinned down coat and still got the top coat to go on .
I like painting but the garage is starting to take the piss lol

Cheers Paul

did my old garage many years ago using a spray gun, diluted some dulux masonry paint and sprayed away.

did an entire single garage in less than an hour.
