XR3i Cabriolet Owners can you shed some ight

Bought a hood cover for my old man’s XR3i Cabby and when we fitted it yesterday we couldn’t work out where/ how the two little straps on the back corners of the cover fit. Are we missing another bit?

Could anyone with a cabby shed any light on this or even better share a photo or three

I've got a cover too and couldn't find anywhere. I assumed it was just for keeping it tidy when it's stored away?

they just tuck under eg thread the wire through should be a gap for them to fit

There is two webbing hoops on the corners of the hood and the hooks slide in to keep the back of the cover down,when I get my cabby back I'll post up a picture
