Default Advise on lowering my 4i

Im looking to lower my 1983 XR4i
The rear springs are lowered and was happy with the height just needed the front to drop but just changed my wheels for some that where same size as i had on (17") and now the front and rear need to drop
If i fit adjustable shocks and lowering springs (for front) obviously will drop the front and i take it il get another 40mm with the adjustable shocks?

As the rear could do with 40mm drop and the front 80-90mm drop!

Any advise on what shocks and springs would be gratefully recieved
And is 40mm the most you get with adjustable shocks and lowering springs
Cheers guys

Very clean under body mate!
And your drop looks just what I'm after,
Mine must have been sitting up on shocks as been in air for few days, the heights dropped a lot since I took her out for a spin, 40mm drop all round is what I'm needed now,
So looking for new shocks and springs so any advise on where to buy from please guys

I'm looking to upgrade my brakes to so might as well do it as I'm doing front shocks,
Been reading on here the many different types of discs that fit but just wondering which are the largest discs I can fit without changing the calliper carriers?
I got 17" wheels so lots of room to play any advise on discs and what callipers fit my existing carriers?
The rear I'm leaving as drums for the moment!
Cheers guys
Oh and is Tabitha still on here?
