gearbox swaps T56 6 speed Vs 5 speed Getrag touring car box
Anyone fitted T56 6 speed box into 3dr? whats involved as a newer box would it be better than Getrag.
Getrag i have been offered needs rebuild how exspesive?
How do they rate against each other power wise.
Any advice appreciated.

Yes i read that but he did say he hadn't done it yet, so i thought he prob didn't yet know of any probs with fitting.
Anyway it looks like this will be the route i go as boxes are cheap here garanteed reconditioned (with different more suitable ratios 1st 5th and 6th) from a reputable supplier here.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
The owner of abc motor sport has a t56 in his rs 500 with different ratios. ive been told the 6 gear is to long so it needs to be change, but i do know he rates the box very well
