Default What clutch?

Hi, I own a 2wd sapphire cosworth. It is stage 1 at the moment, but I have recently purchased a three bar map sensor a set of greens and a new chip. I think my clutch is on its way out. In third when I floor it the revs go up but the car doesn’t go any faster, after few seconds the car then starts to accelerate. I use the car every day! What sort of clutch should I be looking for and who sells them? It needs to be strong enough for the stage three mods but also fairly drivable.

Many thanks for your help.

To an extent I agree, but a standard clutch on a GOOD stage 3 car will NOT last (i.e 350bhp stage 3 )

My NMS Stage 1 distroyed my Standard Clutch

Standard clutch will do the job but wont last long. As Tiff said go for an alcon 6 paddle with ford cover, although make sure its an ap made ford cover and not the sachs one. This is what i ran on my old 3dr which was about 330bhp and also on my black one which will be about 380bhp!

i agree standard clutch probobly wouldnt last longer than 12months,but mine lasted 18months when i was running 346bhp so it is a waiting game so do as i did and get a 6paddle

Is what you are talking about also the same for a 4x4 or is that differant (need something more heavy) on a 330+ preparation ?
