Default Cosworth 2WD brake compensating valve

Hi
im running new brake pipes on my car and got the valve out
im not sure if it’s working right
i can blow down both ends but the outlet seems less pressure ( not sure if this is right )
should they be mounted at a certain angle to work
mot wasn’t leaking when I removed
TIA

Default Brake valve

I found out de hard way mine wasn’t working . When abs is working fine you’ll never know whether it’s working or not . However if abs light comes on for faulty abs sensor for example abs won’t work . If you now brake hard back of car will come around .one way to test it is unplug one of de abs sensors and brake hard at about 10 mph and see if back of car comes around a bit
