Default Suspension recommendations for 2wd saph please

Need to get new shocks/springs for my saph, was going to go for the usual Koni nonsense but bought I’d ask on here first to see if there are any better fast road alternatives, I’d consider coilovers if someone can tell me they won’t seize up after 5 minutes and fit great. TIA

I've been running Bilstein shocks for about 200 years, faultless.

Been on many spring variants over the years but now on Ahmed Bayjoo track spec springs and it's spot on for occasional track use. Also sets the ride height perfect IMO as it was way too low previously.

Mark Shead has specced some BAD black art dampers / coilovers to the Sierra but you are going to spend a few grand, he said the ride is perfect though.

Gaz golds are good value for money and are zinc plated then painted/powder coated. Coilovers also give you good clearance if running wider front wheels.

I think you can buy coilover covers now to keep them in better condition.

Genuine Ford Springs or Eibach
With Bilstein GAZ
Leda Bajyoo springs are too short, they loosen at the front shocks

Ahmed springs (road) and koni shocks set to soft

much better than coilovers if it’s a road car
didnt like my coilovers and tried various spring rates with them,in the end took them off.

Mines purely a road car and I was going coilovers
But with most saying the rides harsh and crashing over bumps I decided not
So gone with koni and Ahmed springs
Not tried yet as my car is still under restoration but it’s been tried and tested for years with good reviews
