Powerflex black series rear beam bushes fitted.
Just had Powerflex black series rear beam bushes fitted to my 3dr cos.
It never felt bad but wow what a difference. My old bushes were the original rubber jobbies and way pay their best. The back end now feels in sync with the front
Already have a rear strut brace and poly diff mount and this has tightened the rear up further.
If anyone is thinking about changing there beam bushes for solid mounts or polybushes
I can recommend the black series from powerflex for this application.
Thats all.

My beam and rear ARB bushes were changed over the winter to for the Powerflex black series on my 2wd sapp, mine were also original Ford bushes, once inspected when removed they were totally shot.It has made a huge difference to the feel of the car now especially whilst cornering.
A very worthwhile mod especially if your still on the original Ford rubber bushes, they will be shot now due to rubber deteriation over the years.

Yes thats it exactly. Biggest difference is when pushing on and chucking it in to a bend the back end tracks much better rather than playing catch up after the initial weight transfer loading.
Get your beam bushes upgraded lads.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Just had Collins engine mounts fitted and GGR poly diff mount and cannot believe how much better the car is.
was verging on dangerous before on initial turn in, had bad rear steering.
next job is the beam mounts may just stick with the yellow powerflex ones though

Yellows no doubt a great improvement over standard rubber to.
I know a good garage that can fit if you need any recommendations

Did you guys notice any difference in vibration/ noise with black series?
Was just thinking if the car feels sorted now I could get away with the yellow ones which are about 15% stiffer and still take a decent amount of nvh away.

I've no experience of yellows on a cossie beam but no doubt they are a good step up from the originals mate and as you say keep the nvh to a minimum.
