What are people using to run fuel lines down there cars
I’m going to be running 044 fuel pump
I’ve thought about running 6mm copper fuel lines down most of the car
Similar to standard but was looking at braided with fittings for the rest
What have you used for the fuel tank to pump as the tank is s push fitting and how to join the braided to the copper lines

I've used aeroquip AN6 hose from pump to fuel rail and back with all aeroquip fittings. Just ordered quit a few meters of hose and all fittings needed and made all the pipes up myself. On push on fitting is coming out of the tank as didn't fancy having a fitting welded on.
Mines all done in the stealth black hose and fittings from Torques. All very neat and looks the part.
I did my entire fuel system with aero quip. Even had the standard rail and fuel tank modded to dash fittings. I’m -8 supply and -6 return. Every thing came from torques. I find there very helpful and knowledgeable on the phone and it’s all fast delivery
You can purchase the materials from them and make it up yourself if you are able to bend it, or you can give them you’re old ones or a template and they will make it up for you with adapters to fit.
I used the black polymer coated tubing and fittings to do mine, also done all the brake lines in stainless steel but needs a decent flaring to for the ends.

Did you use the hardline fittings? I'm guessing the fuel pipe is 8mm to make it work?
Yes mate I used their 8mm tube the external diameter was 10mm so not sure if it fits the original clips, it was their hardline fittings I used not sure if they are interchangeable with other brands.

I had a look om the website, I could only find the fittings, no tubing on there. Maybe they done Mail the pipe

can you remember off hand tge approx cost of the tubing?
Because I replaced the plastic return pipes with the hardline I preferred to leave the short piece of rubber pipe between the tank and the return pipe for a bit of flex, I wasn’t happy with having everything solid for vibration purposes, I also put another rubber hose a bit further up just in front of the fuel pump and filter cradle, I don’t think this would be a problem as the return is low pressure.
