I am going to change the spark plugs on my 3 door.

Could anyone recommend a good spark plug. The car is completely standard.

Never had any problems with them in my Saff but he said his car is totally standard so not sure if they will be the right ones?

Cossied need the gaps to be correct too I believe. Mine are set at 0.5mm.

Just done a lookup on Opie Oils x-reference page and it's come back with IK27 as the plug for a 3 door?

What's the difference between the IK24 & Ik27?

My ik's are out the box must be at min .8mm

That's how they came from Mark Shead...he knows his stuff...I assume that is correct.

They are about .75 out of the box, that is perfect for standard car. The difference between the ik24 and ik27 is that the ik27 is a colder plug best used on a stage 3 cossie good from around 310 to around 450hp. the k24 is a warmer plug good for standard power up to around 300hp.
