Default WRC breather problem

I'm busy plumbing in my WRC breather and im
not 100% sure what to do with the top outlet.

i know it's to vent to atmosphere but I'm reading a few people running to a catch tank (which is what I would like)

my problem is that the outlet is 22mm ( or 7/8, AN -16)

i cant find a small 1 litre tank with AN -16 fittings on it and it's a big drop from AN -16 to say a AN6 -6 or 1/2 13mm.

do I really need a tank for a wrc breather?

its already proving to be a ballache fitting so far

thanks

I think most would vent under the car. Someone like spec r (if not in a hurry) could make you one but I expect Marc MK with the WRC fiesta could make one, he did a lovely header tank for me.

Allard would also make you one, they did my fuel tank.

Thanks for that

It's looking like I'll have to vent under the car and see what happens, failing that I'll have to get a tank made up to suit

I had a lotus 7 rep and that vented under the car but the tired engine and poor design did drop oil on the rear tyres....that kept it interesting In the wet around Goodwood

Really not sure what to do, I'm thinking of running a hose from the tank to the underside and use a small k&n crank case type filter on the end

that is a R E D catch tank and is fitted to a 710 bhp scs engine that rev's to 8500 and to be fair never really catches any oil. the pipe on bottom of 1st pic goes to atmosphere And the oil drain is the Allen key socket screw but the oil thing that seems to dribble out is a bit of yellowy water probably more oily condensation.

Cheers Ricko.
