Im in a rural part of NZ so use my high beam and fogs alot.

Is there any relay changes required?

You can normally buy replacements that are higher power, I think I bought mine from opie oils. No need to change anything else. Worth checking the wiring as they do corrode and clean up the earths.

Any more info on this? Tried a set of H7 led bulbs in one of mine and the light output was like a sidelight bulb.

I would be very interested in this to Paul. You got the interior bulbs to?

Thanks. Lee.

Go careful with higher wattage bulbs. I put some in a vauxhall a few years ago, and they melted the stalks.

As said, it would be worth checking the voltage across the bulb holder with the bulbs in and engine running. If you have less than the voltage across the battery, you have a high resistance in the circuit, so I would be checking for good earths, connections inside the fuse box etc.

As for uprated bulbs, osram nightbreakers are supposed to be a good upgrade, maybe a discrete set of spot lights that come on with main beam?

Nightbreakers are about the best without having to fit additional relays and live feeds.

I've got the Osram night breakers in my low beams and 100w halogen in the high beam

Still not great on low beam, so i usually supplement it with the fogs. Pretty good on high beam though.

If your upping the wattage, run a separate power supply and use the original wiring to switch a relay.

In fact you'd probably see an improvement in the standard bulbs by running a new power supply to them.
