idle sticking

Default idle sticking
Hi

Ive got a 2wd cosworth, when cold the idle is ok but when hot the idle seems to stick between 1500 and 2000 rpm.

Even if the idle speed control valve is disconnected.

Has any one any ideas

Either the idle screw needs adjusting or clean our the control valve with carb cleaner once stripped.
