Default Bumper reinforcement brackets?

Noticed drivers side of my Cossie bumper was a bit loose, so have removed bumper and lo and behold, the bracket that attaches to wing has broken - passenger side is perfect.

Am I right in thinking there is a reinforced bracket out there for this? And if so, any ideas where to get one?

Cheers!

I fitted these a month ago was impressed with the kit tbh was actually quite a rigid bracket I was expecting it to be flimsy.

Were they only Ł50 or did you pay more? Big difference indeed if they were only Ł50...

I paid the exact price they are advertised for on eBay, iirc there made out of 2mm stainless and there was no flex atall in them. All holes lined up perfectly with the original rivet holes in the bumper and the rivnut lined up perfectly with the hole on the wing when installed.

Only thing I will say was the rivets where too long so when you popped them they were still slack, that's because rivets require a certain thickness of material they go into to pop properly, I sorted this by using a nylon washer to pack the rivet out a bit.

Looks a tidy bit of kit, massive difference in price between the two sets. I will be purchasing a set shortly for mine.

Thanks. Lee.

I agree, Ł50 for a bit of bent metal is a bit rich, but the MSD ones are CNC machined by the looks of them so that makes them very reasonably priced.

You pays your money you takes your choice

Tbh they're laser cut then bent to shape ect quite alot of work for very little money. Cnc brackets are OTT I think.

The ebay ones fit better than the MSD ones. I had both, went with the ebay type.
