Default throttle position sensor

What symptoms does a faulty tps or one needing set cause.

It will cause hesitation when accelerating and can cause bad idling.

Thanks for reply. Last night I checked the volts last night with multimeter and mine seems the wrong way rounds
closed 4.69
open fully 0.49

What ECU? And are you on a TPS01 or TPS09 ?

09 with 2wd ecu. I spoke to PJ Motorsport and are sending me a 01

That is why, PF01 contains a switch, which your ECU needs.

All you need is the converter lead from anembo , swaps the wires over , l8 run 09 and l1and l6 run pf01

Does the lead provide a constant resistance at idle too so the L8 / P8 ECU doesnt flag a TPS error at key on? That will be handy if so.

I've fitted the Pf01. What should it read?. Also the idle seems to be crazy if I plug in the idle control sensor but was fine before strip down been cleaned and so has my spare but revs still go to 2500.

Had one on my cossy , and no fault on the pectel monitor , so must be ok ?

Cool, must have some circuitry in it to provide a permanent resistance to give the correct PF09 idle output then. I will look into it as that will be handy from time to time.

Im drained of cars coming in with L8's / P8's and PF01's with the wiring reversed moaning that their idle speed is crackers or the ISCV no longer works and the emissions are illegal, along with black fuel on overun etc etc...
