Default J&R 4x4 driveshafts

has anyone ever used these on the 4x4??
Obviously get what you pay for, but they list them as uprated and would cost me similar to refurb my existing ones.

Interested to see if anyone has used these on a 4x4 saph as im buying a set of new driveshafts in the next few days, ive read really bad reviews of J&R driveshafts but have no experience with them. Im either looking at the GGR ones which are £200 each on ebay (cheaper than GGR's website) or a set from automotive unlimed cosworth specialists whos are £165 each. anyone with any advise?? those £60 shafts from J&R just seem way to cheap though.

Yeah I've been advised not to bother lol. I am getting both my front ones rebuilt by CPS in Gateshead. I've been quoted £89+vat each, that's for a full strip down and any parts or grinding that needs doing, new boots and painted. They build all the shafts gor TVR and other motorsport companies.

was in a pickle before a ring trip, needed shafts doing when replacing 2 rear wheel bearings, chucked a pair of j&r ones in, running 380/380 in my escos and been fine.

The cynic in me would say they are the same shafts unless I'm proven otherwise...

I've got 2 of the J&R ones sat here and they look identical, as much as you can tell from a picture.

Stick a photo up please. Ive used non genuine shafts in my leon Cupra TFSI before and the vibrated like fook, took them back out after 30 miles.

Im pretty positive the CPS shaft rebuild will be mint but still £230 as opposed to £120 . Every little bit of common sense is telling me that at £120 for a pair they will be crap, but im so tempted

message the seller before you buy, they give a 2 year warranty, so if he does that then ask if when you have received them and are not happy can you return them at your cost.
