Stupid question about disassemling MT75
I wan't to take off the front bellhousing part of the gearbox. Does the driveshaft guide sleeve have to come off before being able to remove bellhousing or can it be done without removing it as the guide sleeve looks to be screwed into the bellhousing itself. I'm asking this because taking off the guide sleeve requires a special tool which I don't have. Anyone know? :|

not done it myself, but i remember a friend of mine cutting a socket up and welding a tube in the middle of it for this purpose, so i'd assume it needs to come off.

Okay probably have to try it. I found some website that sells the special tool but it costs +70 euros so I'll try getting the tool made up instead.

Needs to come off as there is a circlip underneath. I cut a socket in half and welded it back together with a length of old exhaust pipe.

Got the special tool made the bellhousing is off. :top: Like Mike Kerbey said there's circlip behind it that needs to come off aswell.
