3DR throttle cable ball end question
I have a bit of a dilemma, I ordered a new LHD throttle cable from Burton that is claimed to fit 3door Cossie but the ball end socket is too big. Did they just send me the wrong part (I have emailed them) or are all of the new cables only made with larger sockets? I assumed that all of the earlier throttle bodies were essentially the same (Saph and 3DR). Further, I have the AS plenum which comes supplied with a new throttle lever and the ball attachment is exactly the same size as my stock YB throttle plate (smaller). So...WTF throttle cable did I get and does anyone know where a yank can get a LHD correct fitment cable?!

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
The socket in the new cable just looks like a drilled hole to be fair
Try putting it on the throttle body then putting the clip on
Then see what it is like
Once the clip is on it won't go no where

Unfortunately, my cable was not equipped with clips. I have ordered new ones but remain a little concerned that the fit is not tight without a clip. I will give it a try and see how comfortable I am with it.
Not easy trying to build a YB in the states.

VERY limited market for sure. Possibly less than 100 YB's in the states, may be more than that in Canada. Hard to say value as few actually sell. I would say $6,000-$8,000USD will get you a used engine. $10,000-$12,000 will get you a nice engine and transmission. Basically take the price from UK sellers, add $1,000+USD for shipping.
