yes the bushes are different, you also need to check the position of the arb mount as the earlier cars were in a different position

The 2WD Cosworth are different and in the case of the 3DR, the ARB pickup is different.

The Cosworth's have spherical bearings instead of the usual bushes.

The 4x4, however, I am pretty sure are the same.

According to the Powerflex website, the Cosworth inner and outer bush part numbers are the same as the non-Cosworth which kind of got me thinking..!!!

Thanks guy's. So, other than a possible ARB issue the trailing arms themselves should be identical to those of, say a 2ltr etc??

yes that will be correct if changing to powerflex, but as said earlier the cosworth was fitted with a spherical (metal) bearing that offered much better reistance to flexing, so with that removed a powerflex(which is a negative move) will fit ok

The arms are not the same as on a standard Sierra.
- The pickup points for the arb are most of the time not present on a standard Sierra.
- Arms for cars with drum brakes are different than disc brakes. Arms for drum brakes have a too small hole for the driveshaft and won't have a location for the ABS sensor either
- The angle for the plate for the hub is at different angles to give different camber settings depending on model/ride height.
- As said, the bushes for the Cosworth are spherical bearings but the fitment of the bushes is the same for all arms

I believe 2wd sapph Cosworth arms are the same as 4x4 Cosworth arms, but 3dr arms are different.
