Any Cossie guru in suffolk want to take a look?

Hi guys.

Im wondering if there are any experienced people with regards to cosworths that would be interested in coming to lakenheath to have a look at my 4x4 saph. I dragged it out of a barn a few weeks ago at what i thought was a good price with the intentions of restoring. But having spoke to harvey gibbs and a few others im not sure if the car is worth recomissioning or breaking.

Im very inexperienced with cossies which could be my downfall here (used to rs turbo's) so i wasnt 100% sure what to look for, but i want professional opinions not just someone to turn up and make me look like a knob.

If there is anyone who would be willing to do this i would be very very grateful as ive got some money tied up in this car and if im going to keep it i want it mot'd and put on the road sooner rather than later.

Thankyou for your help.

Essentially with any cossies the structure of the car is most important, rust & rot is the biggest killer of them. anything else is mechanical and can be fixed easily enough.

no point in having a fantastic engine if the shell is rotten beyond repair
