4X4 or 2wd bud
|
my first thought would be crank sensor or ignition module
cheers nick |
I recently had a sticky/stuck in the end relay that left the engine running even with the key out, maybe you have a relay sticking in the off position?
|
4x4 what's the best way to check things want to get a lust so I can crack on tomoz if possible
|
Well have you noticed the rev counter jumping ?
I would check the crank sensor and also the connector blocks on the bulk head the cennter one has the crank sensor going through it so check there all clean and connecting |
Just to add i have just got the iaw diag software from stu when you have issues like this it makes it so easy to fault find
|

For me wiring loom plugs on the bulk head causing a crank/phase issue

My 2wd did this it was the multiplug above the ecu , 5 wires ignition/earths/lives.

Was the crank sensor all sorted cheers folks :top:

When I first bought my cossie I could go for a drive and it would cut out. It would crank and crank and wouldnt start. I could get the car towed home then it would start again. I changed the fuel filter and it been spot on for the past 7 years.

My first laptop had a pcmcia slot where i used a rs232 ( serial ) converter. Worked fine. Unfortunatly the new latop didnt have anything like that so had to used one of the USB converter cables. and pop they both went @ £100 a time. :wall: |
The dell cost me £80 refurbed off eBay works great with the older type based software I just use that for all the car stuff
