Default Removing the flame trap and keeping the kidney box on a cossie (Revised)

I have a spec R breather system on my car with the catch tank and all that nonsense, but there is a problem with the kidney box.
The hose from the new breather attaches onto the original kidney box pipework and it seems to be leaking vapour out of it and oiling up my engine bay.
Can I remove the kidney box system all together and does anyone have any photos or tips of how to go about this?

You can just get a pipe fitting to go in the block and connect hose to your breather, some leave kidney box on and others take it off.

It will be leaking where the kidney box pushes into the block, I just smeared it with a bit of sealant.

Thanks for the input, i'll look into the wrc breather tank.
it's not leaking at the block it's the plastic pipe just under the inlet, i think it''s the flame trap part, it''s red and black and pushes together, i was going to rip the whole lot out.

You can rip it out. The GGR breathers don't use the kidney box.

Take the flame trap out and put it straight on the kidney box

Ok I need to understand this photo...!
The pipe on the right of the pic, does this go to the inlet? if so and i'm removing the flame trap, what do I put in it's place, have people blocked it off or what?
Also is there a hose that goes to the sump from either the hidney for or this breather?

(I know the long hose at the top goes to the airbox, and i think the black plastic part is what joins onto the kidney box?)

You blank the one way valve that is screwed into the inlet manifold.

On a 4x4, the sump has a pipe you connect the oil return from your breather to. I don't think this pipe is there on a 2wd? Could be wrong about that though!

Thanks mate I'll get the bits and do that. Yeah I did see the sump connection you mentioned, but I couldn't see where it connects to, do you know?
