3dr help needed???
iv got a 3dr cosworth an there will be a project thread soon and its guna be a track car an 400bhp. what is the best on the rear beam mount to use solid or poly bush? or whateva u think??? also i got willwoods on the front already and i've got some spair willwood calipers which i can pay to have brackets made up but do i have to get a hydrolic handbrake or do i not need one or 4x4 saph calipers an use the orignal handbrake???? also what do the touring car use on the rear mounts plz coz there obz the best if they using them???? thanks for looking

Touring cars were in a different league when it comes to geometry setup but if you want something proper for the track you want to be speaking to SCS Harvey Gibbs or Jimbo on this forum regarding one of their rear beam setup's
They also would advise you on a diff mount too - i use a MSD mount but i don't use mine on track so i can't fully say what they're like.

Ok thanks I'll speak to Harvey tomo. An I want a diff mount to the whole of my car is pollybushed just the rear beam is not I have emailed Collins performance what injectors an wether to use a big winged sump on a 200 block using a t34 for track an how much for a remap but they have not replied what would you recommend as your into your cosworths??? I rang Harvey today an they said be best using polybush on the rear beam. Whats the best rear brakes to use the willwoods or saph 4x4 ones????

Imo poly bushes, at least this is what I am going to do for the beam mounts, imo solid beam mounts will add more NVH!
The only difference between the rear braking setup is 2WD have solid disks, opposed to the 4x4's vented, a good mod is to fit the 4x4 rear brakes (which is a straight swap) as the solid discs can get a bit hot!

Ye I got willwoods an need to decide cos my 2wd calipers are knackered ino 4wd are vented I was guna use those 4wd vented discs for the willwoods as I got them on the front an wateva best for track an 400bhp
