hi guys ive bought a rear lower spoiler supposed to be genuine rs500 .can anyone tell me how these are supposed to be held on to boot lid .it looks like there was steel bolts at each end but are cut off or rotted away.there was also a lot of tigerseal or some sort of black bond on bottom which i had to get off with flap disc.not really happy with fit any advice on fitting would be appreciated.

If its real it will have a big C after the part number, heres mine

Its been a while since i removed and refitted mine but i know i stuck mine down with double sided foam tape

Thanks mate mine looks like the v was cut out and there's no c after number. What's this off I wonder !

mine is as above and held on with double sided tape along the middle and a bracket bolted on either end which clamps over the end of the tailgate in almost a c shape

As bottlers says, mine is the same - non c spoilers are off 2.0 s I think or sold as an accessory part - nothing wrong with them as they are made of the same material just the 500 mould had the notch for the upper spoiler post

Did you buy the one for Ł240 plus Ł15 p&p?

non c spoilers are RS accessory spoilers mate, the 2.0iS spoiler is identical to the XR4x4 spoiler except not colour coded
