Question Fan

Hi guys I own a 4x4 sapph cossie and recently when the fans cut in the 30amp fuse would blow.so I got a new fan loom from motorsport developments I fitted it today fans blow correct way come on everything was fine so I went for a blast got back to the garage noticed it was getting warm so turned it off. Turns out both 15amp fuses in the new loom have popped anyone no why this might happen?

Did you notice if the fans were working while you were out?

Apart from the awful wiring, the switch is totally inappropriate as well, bringing the fans on too early and for too long, this is what causes the fuse/box to melt in the first place, if this is the case then you can buy an "Uprated" switch from MSD which has a far better span.

Otherwise your fans may be a little tight.
