Default Best spec YB 8.0:1 pistons

Hi.

Searching good pistons to my engine.
I'm using stock crank & rods. Must have valve pockets.

I use Wiseco 8:1 with pockets, now 400bhp, but want more ))
not expensive in USA and should be good
weight=446g

How much were these and were did you get them from?

I;m looking for closer to 9:1 CR

non standard CR will be much more expensive +about 200$!
I bought it from dealer in Ukraine.

Personally i think cosworth race pistons are the best and iv always used them with out any trouble ever..

Do you mean those what have that coating in skirt?

i would say cp or je and cosworth racing theres a company i got mine from there very cheap do all sorts called performance unlimited very helpful done custom spec ones for my engine for about £450

Yes most cosworth race pistons have a green friction coating on the skirts that wear of when running in..


much better than cp or je in my opinion

I'm currently have the Cosworth forged pistons in mine but only 2300km run so but no probs at all and no piston slap as my previous Wössner pistons did have.
Matt Lewis got me a good price on these
